E1-500

The E1-500 is an electric skateboard designed by Elwing.
This e-skate is compact, lightweight, and powerful too. It is perfect to ride in the city.

My comments

Advantages:

• compact and lightweight
• handle to carry
• brushless motor
• regenerative braking
• very smooth freewheel (easy to push the board)
• acceleration and brake are very smooth and gradual
• 10% (5.7 degrees) uphill climb
• nice deck (same as street skateboards)
• the deck covers the wheels: on wet surface the rider remains dry (the wheels don't splatter water on baskets and pair of pants)

Drawbacks:

• a little bit expensive
• not reliable battery: replacement of the battery by the after-sales service after only four months of use (I had the same issue with the previous version of Elwing skateboard: E1)
